Startup16 Account Notifications
When you provide your phone number, you may receive the following types of SMS messages from Startup16:
Most users receive 1 to 5 messages per month. You will only receive messages related to actions you take on the platform or notifications you have opted into.
You opt in to receive SMS messages by checking the optional SMS consent checkbox during account registration at startup16.com/signup. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to create an account. You can also enable SMS notifications later in your account settings under Communication Preferences.

Startup16 does not charge any fees for SMS messages — any charges are from your wireless provider. Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier.
Your phone number is collected solely to deliver SMS notifications. We share your phone number only with Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, for the purpose of delivering messages. Your phone number is never sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
